The firm handling the financial affairs of the 'I'm a Slave 4 U' hitmaker reportedly no longer wants to be involved in the conservatorship amid abuse allegations.

AceShowbiz - Bosses at the finance firm appointed as co-conservators of Britney Spears' estate want out.

A week after the pop star testified in court about her restrictive arrangement, which began in 2008, the money experts at the Bessemer Trust are bowing out.

Sources tell TMZ they no longer want to be involved due to the controversy surrounding the conservatorship.

That means Britney's dad, Jamie, will remain as sole conservator of her estate.

The judge overseeing the matter denied a request to suspend Jamie from estate conservatorship duties back in November (20), and approved the Bessemer boffins as co-conservators.

On Wednesday (30Jun21), Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny denied Britney's motion to remove her father as her conservator.

Britney previously told the judge that her family lived off her conservatorship. As she begged the judge to allow her to regain control of her life, she blasted her relatives, "I would honestly like to sue my family, to be totally honest with you. I also would like to be able to share my story with the world, and what they did to me, instead of it being a hush-hush secret to benefit all of them. I want to be able to be heard on what they did to me by making me keep this in for so long."

She added, "They do interviews to anyone they want on news stations, my own family doing interviews, and talking about the situation and making me feel so stupid. And I can't say one thing."
