AceShowbiz - Lil' Kim is interested to be on "Verzuz" and she's very clear about whom she wants to go up against. While hitting the red carpet at the BET Awards on Sunday, June 27, the raptress revealed that she wanted to battle with Nicki Minaj.

"I want to ask. Wll you do a 'Verzuz'?" the interviewer asked the "Lady Marmalade" hitmaker, who quickly said, "Yes!". "Do you have anybody who you want to go against?" the interview further pressed. To that question, Kim confirmed that she wanted to go head-to-head against the Young Money femcee.

Kim's remarks earned mixed reactions from Internet users. "Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj coming together for a Versuz will be so MONUMENTAL FOR HIPHOP!" an excited fan wrote on Twitter. "The culture needs it. Honestly. Swizz needs to cut that check for Nicki."

However, some others thought that Nicki was too good for Kim. "Lil Kim lowkey setting herself up, Nicki got a catalogue with different alter egos in rap & pop. Good luck ma," one user noted. "this picture alone clearing lil kim and i don't wanna hear no back talk," someone else said alongside a picture of the "Anaconda" hitmaker.

Seemingly accusing Kim of clout-chasing, a user commented, "Lil Kim mentioning Nicki name getting more attention than the BET Awards itself.. say the Queen name you could get some ill press."

Meanwhile, some others thought that Kim should have picked Foxy Brown. "lil kim just said she would do a verzuz with nicki…. but why???? foxy brown is right there…," one person tweeted. "Lil Kim vs Foxy is only right! Nicki and Kim are in 2 different generations. #AreYouDumb?" someone else echoed the sentiment.

Kim and Nicki were rumored to be feuding, though Kim shut down the beef speculations. "I'm past that I'm over it," Kim said back in 2018. "She did what she did, until she's ready, hopefully, God puts it on her mind to do the right thing because she knows what she did."
