AceShowbiz - Tristan Thompson has seemingly given his response to latest rumors that could be discrediting him. In the wake of reports claiming that he hooked up with three woman at a Bel Air house party, the basketballer seemed to deny the story.
The NBA star has not directly commented on the hook-up rumors, but on Monday, June 21, he posted a cryptic tweet containing no single word but five blue hat emojis. The emojis could stand for a slang word "cappin'," which means lying.
Daily Mail was the first to report that Tristan was allegedly spotted entering a room with three women at a Bel Air birthday party on Friday, June 18 and reappearing 30 minutes later looking "disheveled." One source told the outlet, "Tristan took off into one of the party rooms where everyone goes to hook up."
The so-called insider added, "When he arrived, his shirt looked all pressed and when he came out his shirt was a mess, he looked disheveled." Also during the party, which was reportedly hosted by Drake, Tristan "was repeatedly grabbing this one girl's butt so we all knew he was totally into her," the source claimed.
Another source told E! News that Tristan allegedly told fellow partygoers that he's single. Around the same time, a different insider close to Khloe Kardashian confirmed to the site that the on-/off-couple broke up "very recently" over ongoing speculation surrounding his loyalty.
"They had been working through the cheating rumors for the last couple of weeks, but Khloe told Tristan he lost all of her trust and the relationship could not be repaired," the insider dished. "Khloe really tried, but ultimately, felt too betrayed by him. She's done and says she will not go back."
Neither Tristan nor Khloe has confirmed the split rumors, but the reality TV star appeared to defend her baby daddy when Tana Mongeau tweeted a shady tweet about the athlete. The Internet personality claimed that he attended her recent birthday party.
"All i know to tweet about my birthday party last night is that tristan thompson was one of the first attendees," Tana wrote on Sunday, before mentioning the exes' daughter True Thompson, "like babe where's true."
In the replies, one of Tana's followers shaded her, "And this is how you get famous ppl to not f**k with you!" Unapologetic, the 22-year-old responded, "babe do u think i give a f**k if he fw me lmao."
Khloe apparently caught wind of Tana's claim and subtly responded to it. She reportedly liked a fan's post to Tana which read, "shut the f**k up. This screams attention-seeking at its finest bc you know damn well that man gon make headlines over anything pertaining to women. you're a bird! don't speak on True either weird a** h*e."
