Having been the 'Independence Day' star's labor of love, 'Will' is expected to chronicle his career highs and lows, and delve into his personal life, including his marriage to Jada Pinkett Smith.

AceShowbiz - Will Smith has "finally" completed his autobiography, three years after sharing the news of his publishing deal.

The "Independence Day" star took to social media on Saturday, June 19 to share the cover art for "Will", admitting it's been a passion project for some time.

"It's been a labor of love," he said in an accompanying video. "I've been working on it for the past two years and it is finally ready."

The cover features a series of portraits of the rapper and actor painted on top of each other, and was designed by New Orleans, Louisiana-based visual artist Brandan "BMike" Odums.

A press release about the art stated, "The idea is to communicate visually the evolution of a person, from childhood through adulthood, and at major stages of their life in between."

Smith previously revealed he was penning the tome alongside "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F**k" author Mark Manson, and at the time of the 2018 announcement, officials at Penguin Press said, "[The book is] an inspirational tale of how [Will Smith's] true self-knowledge helped to propel him to extraordinary success, and then evolve further to a place of deeper peace - with himself, his loved ones, and the world."

"Will" is expected to chronicle the star's career highs and lows, and delve into his personal life, including touching on a recent rough patch in his marriage to second wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith, with whom he shares son Jaden Smith and daughter Willow Smith.

The memoir will be released on November 9, and it appears fans are already clamoring to get their hands on the book as it became Amazon's number one best seller among actor and entertainer biographies.

Thanking devotees for their early purchases, he posted on Instagram on Sunday, "I see all y'all gettin' your pre-orders in early for my book, THANK YOU!!"
