Three years after her fashion mogul aunt took her own life in her bedroom, the 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' actress shares a heartfelt tribute with a throwback picture post.

AceShowbiz - Actress Rachel Brosnahan has remembered her late aunt Kate Spade on the third anniversary of her death.

"The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" star took to social media to post a tribute to the famous fashion designer, born Katherine Brosnahan, who took her own life on June 5, 2018.

Alongside a throwback picture of the fashion mogul, Rachel wrote, "Missing Katy B today and every day [sic]." In the picture, the actress' late aunt could be seen wearing a silver ball gown while socializing with friends.

She previously paid tribute to Kate in 2019, when she became the face of the designer's accessories line, Frances Valentine.

Rachel said at the time. "In the wake of Katy's passing, my family and I were so overwhelmed and encouraged by the love and support we received from those who were touched by Katy's work, many of whom were strangers from around the world."

"When you lose someone you love, you search for boundless ways to keep their memory alive. This felt like a way to do that through her beautiful creations and an opportunity to share them with all of those who her work meant so much to."

Kate was pronounced dead after being found hanging herself with a red scarf in her bedroom at her and husband Andy Spade's Park Avenue home in Manhattan. Her body was found by a housekeeper. She allegedly left a suicide note to her only child Frances Beatrix that read, "Bea - I have always loved you. This is not your fault. Ask Daddy!"
