When making a virtual appearance on the 'Today' show, the 'You Oughta Know' hitmaker is flaunting her new look as she prepares to kick off her 'Jagged Little Pill' Anniversary Tour.

AceShowbiz - Alanis Morissette has unveiled her new blonde look. In a new interview, the "You Oughta Know" hitmaker opened up that being "slightly insular" during the coronavirus pandemic made her dye her hair blonde.

When making an appearance on the "Today" show on Thursday, June 3, the Grammy-winning singer showed off her blonde bombshell hairstyle which prompted host Hoda Kotb to wonder how long she has been rocking the lighter locks. Responding to the question, she revealed, "Oh I don't even know, I'm postpartum so it's been a couple of months I have no idea." She went on reasoning, "I think everyone played with their hair during the pandemic time because we were all slightly insular."

Aside from showing off her chic and shaggy blonde hairdo, Alanis also discussed her preparation for the 25th anniversary tour of her iconic album "Jagged Little Pill", which was released on June 13 in 1995, while virtually stopping by the morning show. "[I'm] fired up, and I think when we all see each other again in rehearsals we may just melt into a big puddle together weeping for our reunion," the "Hand In My Pocket" songstress said.

"We're all dying to see each other," the mother of four, who welcomed son Winter in 2019, admitted. The "Ironic" singer also shared that being in quarantine was "a bit of a roller coaster." The 47-year-old singer went on to claim that she "just missed everybody really, really hard" and was sad to "miss out on the touch and the hugs" while social distancing.

"The Jagged Little Pill" anniversary tour will kick off at Austin's Germania Insurance Amphitheater on August 12, before continuing across the United States and Europe. The tour included a two-night special at The Hollywood Bowl on October 5 and 6, and will feature Alanis performing "Jagged Little Pill" in its entirety as well as tracks from her latest album, "Such Pretty Forks in the Road".
