The 'I Took a Pill in Ibiza' hitmaker is celebrating as he conquers the world's highest mountain before planning to descend to base camp the following day.

AceShowbiz - Mike Posner has reached the summit of Mount Everest.
The "I Took a Pill in Ibiza" hitmaker has released a photo of himself atop the world's highest mountain, revealing it was taken at 4.35am local time on Tuesday (01Jun21).
"Dawa Chirring Sherpa, Jon Kedrowski, Dawa Dorje Sherpa and Mike Posner summited Mt Everest," he wrote on Twitter. "That's what I call a sunrise."
"We are now back at camp 2 but not out of the woods until we descend to base camp tomorrow am. Please keep us in your prayers."
The climb came after Posner spent a year in intensive high-altitude training in Colorado.
Posner is raising money via corporate sponsors and a GoFundMe page for The Detroit Justice Center, a non-profit law firm working alongside communities to create economic opportunities and transform the justice system.
The hitmaker's father Jon, who passed away in 2017, served as a criminal defence attorney in Detroit, Michigan for 40 years.
His father's death also compelled him to complete his walk across America in 2019.
He previously set off on the epic journey from New Jersey in April 2019. Just after reaching the halfway point in August, he was bitten by a snake in Colorado and had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital.
He took a break from his cross-country-walk to recuperate before resuming his journey by the end of the month and eventually completing his trek in October.
"I walked to become someone I'm actually proud of," he explained. "Before I left, I suspected I had a little pocket of untapped potential inside me. I was wrong, there was a huge basin of untapped potential."
