Executive produced by Starburns Audio's late CEO and co-founder Jason Smith, 'Did You Get My Text?' will get its first four episodes released on SiriusXM's Comedy Greats channel.

AceShowbiz - Actor and funnyman Patton Oswalt has launched a new comedy audio series, based on the non-stop texts he and his wife send each other.

The "American Dad!" star and actress Meredith Salenger message each other all day long and they've decided their funny exchanges deserve further analysis via the podcast "Did You Get My Text?".

"We live in the same house and we rarely see each other for some reason," Oswalt jokes in a trailer obtained by Rolling Stone, referencing the hectic lives the busy couple led before the COVID pandemic.

Salenger adds, "Well, we text each other all day long but we never actually get a chance to sit down and talk about it, so the podcast is the perfect opportunity for us to actually sit down, look at what we texted out each other throughout the day."

The new project is bittersweet for the couple, though, because its executive producer, Starburns Audio CEO and co-founder Jason Smith, died in March. Cliff Dorfman co-produced the show with Smith.

The first four episodes of "Did You Get My Text?" will drop on SiriusXM's Comedy Greats channel on Wednesday, June 2 and will be available across all audio platforms from June 14.

Oswalt went public about his relationship with Salenger in June 2017, a little over one year after his first wife Michelle McNamara died unexpectedly in her sleep. The pair tied the knot in a Jewish ceremony taking place at the Jim Henson company Lot in Hollywood in November a few months later.
