AceShowbiz - Joe Anglim and his wife Sierra Dawn have welcomed their first child. When announcing the happy news, the "Survivor" alums expressed their gratitude and declared that they are "forever grateful" for the birth of their baby girl.
The 32-year-old new father took to his Instagram on Sunday, May 30 to share a photo of his newborn daughter. Alongside the adorable snap of the baby girl being swaddled in a blanket, he penned a sweet message that read, "There are no words...We are forever grateful for you and can't wait for the most exciting and best season yet."
In the caption, Joe included love and pink-colored flower emojis. He additionally wrote down his first child's name, "Della Dawn Anglim," and used the hashtags of "#GodisSoGreat", "#noble", "#daughter", "#precious" and "#light". In the comment section, his wife Sierra left a response that read, "I already see her daddy in her [love]."
Sierra herself shared the same picture of their newborn girl on her Instagram account. Celebrating the birth of her first child, she wrote, "Della Dawn Anglim, our world is forever changed." The 34-year-old continued, "Thanks for choosing us baby girl," adding hashtags that read, "#WelcomeToTheTribe #Noble."
Joe and Sierra's posts were flooded with loving messages from fellow "Survivor" alums. Abi-Maria Gomes gushed over their baby girl by writing, "She is perfect." Andrea Boehlke chimed in, "She's so peaceful!!! Congrats!!" Cirie Fields, Sandra Diaz-Twine, Kristie Bennett, and "Big Brother" star Nicole Franzel, in the meantime, left congratulatory messages and red heart emojis.
About the name they chose for their baby girl, Joe and Sierra revealed to E! News, "We wanted to give her name that had a strong, powerful meaning. Something that was timeless. We chose Della, meaning noble and Dawn after her mom, sharing middle names." The happy couple further told the publication that their baby girl arrived on May 28, and weighed 6 lbs 14 oz at the time of her birth.
Sierra made public that she and Joe were expecting their first child together when celebrating Thanksgivings in November 2020. "The turkey ain't the only thing in the oven this year! #grateful #cheers," she wrote in an Instagram post featuring a sweet photo of the pair. "It's sparkling apple cider from here on out!"
