AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj continues to capture her son's milestones and shares it on social media. Not being able to keep her pride for being a mom to an adorable little boy, the rapper has shared a new video showing her son trying to walk.
Making use of her Instagram page, the Trinidadian-born star posted on Saturday, May 29 the clip which sees her son, whom she lovingly refers to as Papa Bear, learning to stand up with the help from her husband Kenneth Petty. Wearing a white onesie with a teddy bear print on it, the toddler appeared to be attempting to take a step while his father was supporting him from behind.
"You trying to do all of that today?" Nicki said in the video as she seemingly held the camera to film her son. "You're not trying to do all of that today?" she asked, before jokingly asking, "Am I bothering you? You had it?"
The Harajuku Barbie then pretended to speak for her son in a baby voice. "Mama I had it, leave me alone already please. I don't got time for all of that mama," she said. The 38-year-old captioned the video with a teddy pair emoji as a reference to his Papa Bear nickname.
Nicki and Kenneth welcomed their first child together in September 2020 after tying the knot in October 2019. The pair have not revealed their son's name as she waited before starting to slowly introduce the baby boy to the world.
The "Starships" hitmaker finally gave the first look of her son's face in photos she posted in January. "#PapaBear thank you so very much for choosing me to be your mama," she captioned the pics. "Becoming a mom is by far the most fulfilling job I've ever taken on. Sending love to all the superhero mothers out there. Big hugs to all the women who have been pregnant during this challenging time."
