AceShowbiz - Olympian Usain Bolt is a new dad.
On Monday, May 18, 2020, Jamaica's Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced on Twitter that the former sprinter, 33, and his girlfriend Kasi Bennett were new parents, after welcoming a baby girl into the world.
"Congratulations to our sprint legend Usain Bolt and Kasi Bennett on the arrival of their baby girl!" Holness wrote alongside a photo of the athlete.
The couple has yet to publicly share the exciting news or announce the name of the new arrival.
Bolt shared he was set to become a dad in January, sharing a snap of Kasi displaying her blossoming baby bump in a stunning red gown on Instagram.
"I just want to say a KING or QUEEN is about to be HERE," he wrote alongside the photo of the marketing director posing on the beach by the ocean.
Kasi also shared three snaps from the shoot on her own Instagram page, writing, "Our biggest blessing..." and "Our greatest celebration..." alongside the first two posts."
In the caption of the third and final image, the 30-year-old teased, "Our golden child... Coming soon..."
The couple has been dating since 2014.
