AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti may have been kept busy with a new addition to their little family now. Words are the Australian raptress and her boyfriend, who is an American rapper, have welcomed their first child together.
According to Gossip of the City, the "Black Widow" hitmaker gave birth to the baby over the weekend. Other details, including the exact date of birth and the baby's name, are currently not available, but the same entertainment news blog previously reported that the 29-year-old star was pregnant with a baby boy and was set to deliver her baby in Atlanta. The same blog reported a little over a week ago that she's going to give birth "very soon."
Rumors of Iggy being pregnant first started going around in December 2019, but neither Iggy nor Playboi has ever confirmed the news. Instead, she has been posting several photos showing her flat tummy, possibly to stop the pregnancy speculation.
Iggy and Playboi started dating in late 2018. In December, they moved into a new home in Atlanta together. Despite already dating for more than a year, the pair have been pretty low key when it comes to their relationship.
Should the baby rumor be true, it is the first child for both Iggy and Playboi. The former was previously in a high-profile relationship with NBA star Nick Young which ended in 2016 after his cheating drama, while the latter was dating Blac Chyna in 2017.
However, in a rare candid confession, Iggy recalled one of the nice things Playboi did to her. "The nicest thing that my guy does for me is he tells me when if my wig lace is showing," she said in an interview. "He's always like, 'Babe, I know it can look better. It doesn't look like it’s growing out of your head.' It's usually when I put it on [myself]. He'll come out and be like, 'I think you should wear a hat.' "
