The former star of 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' shares the heartbreaking news, revealing that her newborn son, McCoy, suffered shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord.

AceShowbiz - Kara Keough is still thinking of helping others even in time of great sorrow. When sharing the heartbreaking news that her newborn son McCoy Casey Bosworth has died from complications during childbirth, the former star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" revealed she has decided to donate his organs.

Taking to her Instagram account on Tuesday, April 14, the 32-year-old shared the message she wrote "for the organ/tissue procurement team to read out in his honor." Her note read, "Tonight, we join together to honor this little savior's gifts of life. Through him, may others find new hope and profound healing... and may he live again through them."

"May his legacy shine in the form of lifetimes aplenty - lives filled with laughter, compassion, energy, love, and most of all gratitude," her message continued on. "May it be said that McCoy Casey Bosworth left this world in a better place, for a better place.... that he made an impact... that he was an answered prayer... that he was a hero. May angels lead him in. Thank you, McCoy."

About the birth and passing of McCoy, the TV personality detailed, "On April 6th, our son McCoy Casey Bosworth was born at 3:10am. Weighing in at 11 pounds and 4 ounces and spanning 21 inches, McCoy surprised us all with his size and strength (and overall perfection)." She added, "During the course of his birth, he experienced shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord."

"He joined our Heavenly Father and will live forever in the hearts of his loving parents, his adoring sister, and those that received his life-saving gifts," the daughter of Jeana Keough went on sharing. In the post, she also cited the Bible verse of John 16:20 about Jesus' promise in turning grief into joy, before writing, "Until we see you again... We love you, McCoy."

Kara first announced her pregnancy through her "The Pushover Project" blog back in October. At the time, she posted a series of photos of her, her husband and their daughter Decker holding a T-shirt with "Bebe Tigre" written on it. "I intentionally waited for the right time to bring you into our family for a reason, I just had no idea my reason would be this freaking excited," she additionally wrote.
