During his 'Good Morning America' appearance from home, the news anchor husband of actress Ali Wentworth claims he was 'basically asymptomatic' before testing positive for COVID-19.

AceShowbiz - George Stephanopoulos, the news anchor husband of actress Ali Wentworth (Alexandra Wentworth), has tested positive for coronavirus - nearly two weeks after his screen star spouse was diagnosed.
The 59-year-old former White House Communications Director went public with his diagnosis on U.S. TV show "Good Morning America" on Monday, April 13, Stephanopoulos added that while his contraction of COVID-19 was "really no surprise", he is "basically asymptomatic".
"I've never had a fever, never had chills, never had a headache, never had cough, never had shortness of breath," he explained.
Wentworth, in contrast, told fans previously that she had "never been sicker" after testing positive for the virus.
However, during his GMA appearance from home on Monday, Stephanopoulos added that the "Jerry Maguire" star was doing "much, much better".
"She's going on her fifth day now with no fever, which is really a great sign. Slowly getting out of bed a little bit more each day, so really happy about that."
Ali and George share two daughters together, Elliott, 17, and Harper, 14.
