AceShowbiz - Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck's growing romance might be met with hesitancy from Jennifer Garner's part. Less than a month after the two were reported to be dating, words came out that the "No Time to Die" actress might have to wait a little longer before meeting her rumored boyfriend's children because his ex-wife has yet to give her approval.

While Jennifer was said to be happy and supportive of Ben's newfound romance, she was now alleged to have decided it was too soon for him to introduce Ana to their kids. Nevertheless, her ex-husband was claimed to be "understanding" of her reluctance. "[He] said he would work with Jennifer to prepare the kids for meeting [Ana]," a source told Us Weekly.

Jennifer and Ben tied the knot in 2005. From their decade-long marriage, the former couple shared three children together, 14-year-old Violet, 11-year-old Seraphina and 8-year-old son Samuel. They announced their separation in June 2015, and finalized their divorce a little over three years later in October 2018.

Back in February, Ben confessed that divorcing the "Peppermint" actress was his "biggest regret." Speaking to The New York Times at the time, he explained further, "Shame is really toxic. There is no positive byproduct of shame. It's just stewing in a toxic, hideous feeling of low self-worth and self-loathing."

Since their split, the "Justice League" actor have been linked to a few women including TV producer Lindsay Shookus. He sparked dating speculations with Ana in March 2020 after they were photographed vacationing in her hometown of Havana, Cuba. The "Deep Water" co-stars seemingly confirmed their romance with a romantic getaway in Costa Rica days after that.

Jennifer herself has moved on with businessman John Miller. When rumors of Ben's relationship with Ana surfaced, a source told Us Weekly that she "has completely moved on from Ben in a romantic sense."
