AceShowbiz - New York Yankees' legend Alex Rodriguez hosted a virtual baseball clinic alongside his fiancee Jennifer Lopez and their children on Monday (23Mar20).
The 44-year-old retired baseball superstar broadcast the teaching sessions, titled the 'A-Rod Baseball Bunch' - live from his backyard on his Instagram Live account, as people across the world stay in their homes to help tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
Video footage showed Jennifer Lopez, her 11-year-old twins, Emme and her brother Max, and his kids, 15-year-old Natasha and 11-year-old Ella, getting involved - with The "Hustlers" star hitting some impressive shots.
After the clinic, Alex posted some highlights on Instagram, and thanked all those aspiring players who tuned in to get some tips while his and Jennifer's blended family join many Americans in heading into self-isolation.
"Today was a dream day for me," he wrote. "First, I'd like to thank everyone who tuned in to watch my first ARod baseball clinic. I hope you guys learned something and enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed doing it!"
After praising those who are making use of their enforced time at home to work on their game, Alex added: "You can also use it to spend quality time with family. We had a blast playing a little baseball in the yard with the four powerful young women in my life."
Praising Jen's baseball skills, he concluded: "The only depressing part was watching Jen lock in on her swing and launch one. What can't she do? She even hits better than I do!"
