Taking to Instagram Stories, Sabrina writes, 'It's safe to assume I'll probably test positive for but they're aren't enough tests at the moment,' promising to keep her followers updated.

AceShowbiz - Idris Elba’s wife Sabrina is yet to take a test for coronavirus after her husband was diagnosed with the illness.

Idris announced on Monday (16Mar20) that he had tested positive for Covid-19 after being exposed to the disease by another person recently and, while the couple is self-isolating as a precaution, Canadian model Sabrina admitted on her Instagram Stories she hasn't yet been tested.

Taking to the platform, she wrote: "We are ok! We are both in quarantine with no symptoms."

"It's safe to assume I'll probably test positive for but they're (sic) aren't enough tests at the moment. I will keep you all updated."

She added, "Overwhelmed by all the loving messages, thank you," along with the captions, "Quarantine and chill," and "coronavirus don’t panic".

The "Avengers: Infinity War" actor joins Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, and former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko among the celebrities taking care not to spread Covid-19.

"This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus," Idris tweeted.

"Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I'm doing. No panic."

Following Idris' post, the star was praised by the Director General of the World Health Organisation for his "brave and powerful message" about the virus.

Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus wrote on Twitter: "Take care and stay strong, @idriselba! I admire your brave and powerful message to the world. We're all in this together. Solidarity will beat the #coronavirus. #COVID19."

More than 183,000 cases of coronavirus have been registered worldwide since it began in December (19), resulting in over 7,100 deaths globally.
