During an appearance on 'The Talk', the 'America's Next Top Model' creator recalls how her mother, Carolyn London, reacted to her scheme to find potential suitors for the latter.

AceShowbiz - Supermodel-turned-TV personality Tyra Banks once helped her mother find love by secretly assuming her identity on an Internet dating site.

The former runway beauty reveals she quietly set up a full profile for her mum, Carolyn London, and responded to interested men herself in an attempt to narrow down potential suitors before presenting the better options to her parent.

"I signed my mum up for a very famous dating site five years ago. She did not know, I pretended to be her," Tyra confessed on U.S. show "The Talk".

"Then I showed her (the profile), like, 'Mama, look.' She was like, 'How dare you do that? People know I'm your mama! You embarrass me! You got my picture up on that site!' "

But Carolyn's tune changed when she heard about one man who said all the right things.

The 46 year old recalled, "Then I was like, 'But mum, look what this guy said.' And she was like, 'Oh, he said I was beautiful...? And then what did I say? And then what did he say...?' "

And Tyra's matchmaking efforts paid off: "She went out with him for years!" the stunner smiled.
