The 'Rush Hour' actor assures his fans that he's well following concerns about his wellbeing after he's rumored to be placed under quarantine because of the deadly illness.

AceShowbiz - Jackie Chan is "very healthy and safe" despite reports the 65-year-old actor had been placed under quarantine because of the coronavirus.

The "Rush Hour" actor released a statement on his website reassuring fans he was in good health, amid concerns he'd been struck with the deadly coronavirus, which has affected more than 83,000 people worldwide.

"I'm very healthy and safe, and haven't been quarantined," Jackie wrote. "I've received many messages from friends asking if I'm ok. Your love and concern is so heartwarming. Thank you!"

The "Crime Story" star continued, "I've also received some very special gifts from fans all over the world during this very difficult time. Thank you for the face masks. Your thoughtfulness is well received! And I've asked my lovely staff to donate your kindness through official organisations to those who need it most."

Coronavirus, a deadly virus related to influenza, has resulted in more than 2,800 fatalities, with most cases developing in China, where the outbreak originated.
