AceShowbiz - Malika Haqq has found herself under fire for her post-pregnancy plan. Weeks before her first child is born, the best friend of Khloe Kardashian came forward with a confession that she has arranged for a plastic surgery makeover, and the Internet took issue with her revelation.
On Tuesday, February 25, the 36-year-old took to her Instagram account to upload a photo of her posing with A-list plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond, known for his appearance on "The Celebrity Plastic Surgeons of Beverly Hills" and "Dr. 90210". "Stopped by just to see my fav @drjasondiamond and I'm fully book for my post pregnancy makeover," she wrote in its caption. 'I can't wait!"
Haqq's post left many fuming. One complained, "Dang have the baby first. Why do females think they need to look amazing right after giving birth? Beyond me. Vanity, I guess." Another stated, "Really...if you can't accept the marks that come along with having a baby then you shouldn't be a mom." A third regretted her announcement, ranting, "This is why moms hate their body's. rich people having unrealistic bodies and faces."
Amid the criticism, Haqq received support from other reality stars and fans alike. "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum Kim Zolciak-Biermann simply wrote, "Adore you both." Mercedes Javid of "Shahs of Sunset" told her, "gettttt." One of her fans has also backed her by replying, "She's 100% honest! If I had the [money] I would get it done too!"
Haqq's revelation over her post-pregnancy plan came just days after she got candid about her relationship with her baby's father O.T. Genasis. Taking to her photo sharing platform, the social media personality admitted that her ex-boyfriend has always been supportive. "Relationships don't always work out the way we would hope but between love & friendship we have created a baby boy that will be here very soon," she said. "I've been single the last 8months but I am in no way alone."
"OT and I have attended every doctors apt and over all loved on our son together while anticipating his arrival," she continued. "Our baby would not be who he is without his father and I thank God for the spirit that grows inside of me. Only thing that matters, we are Baby Flores parents."
