AceShowbiz - Is Tamar Braxton single and ready to mingle? The star sparks rumors that she has broken up with her Nigerian boyfriend David Adefeso following her eyebrow-raising social media activity.
The reality star and singer removed all pictures of him from her Instagram account, prompting fans to speculate that there was trouble in paradise. Further fueling rumors, Tamar wrote about not being accepted on her Twitter account on Monday, February 17.
"If they don't want you.there is no talking. No reasoning. Let it go and let God bring you the one who will be all that you need to except all of you," so she tweeted. "your flaws will not be your weakness but it will be your strength and attraction to the one that is meant to be in your life."
Tamar didn't go specific about what she's talking in the tweet, but that arrives after David appeared to threaten to cut ties with his family if they didn't accept her. "I informed my family early on that they didn't have a choice! They either love Tamar the way they love me and accept her the way I accept her....or they risk losing me completely," so the Nigerian businessman revealed in a recent Instagram post back in December 2019.
David gave his family such ultimatum because he didn't want to end up like many African American families where the African parents got "too overly involved in their children's relationships and married lives, often to the detriment of the young couple's relationship."
However, at the time, David revealed that his mom welcomed Tamar and "Beans like her 13th grandchild."
It remains to be seen why Tamar wiped all of her Instagram picture, but it is worth to note that David shared over the weekend some romantic videos from their Cabo San Lucas getaway. "The last 20 months have been like a dream come true. Who would've guessed that two oceans would meet that one warm summer night in the Pacific and so quickly unite to form an unbreakable bond that gets so much stronger every day," he began in the caption.
David then went on to gush over Tamar, "Through every storm that forms the tide gets stronger, and each wave creates another indescribable memory that lasts a lifetime. Words can’t begin to describe how much I love you, my @tamarbraxton, but our memories may help in showing how many ways you complete me. Happy Valentines Day my love. I love you completely."
