When attending the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars party, the daughter of Ozzy Osbourne shares her thought on the rocker's health battle, stressing that it is not doomsday.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Osbourne has revealed her dad Ozzy Osbourne's Parkinson's disease diagnosis has brought them closer together.

The Black Sabbath rocker went public with his health battle last month (January 2020), after being diagnosed with the condition Parkin's II a year ago. And while it's been a challenging time for the family since then, Kelly admitted she's never felt more of a bond with her 71-year-old father.

"Life happens and everybody gets dealt a different set of cards, and it depends how you play it," she told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as she attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars party on Sunday, February 09 night.

"We take every day as it comes and he is doing incredible. We couldn't have got much closer, but we did. Everyone is acting like it is doomsday, it's not. It's just something we have to deal with."

Kelly added that Ozzy had planned to attend the Oscars bash alongside her and mum Sharon, but changed his mind at the last minute and opted to stay in with a curry.

"He was going to come, but then he was like, 'I don't want to get dressed up'," she smiled. "He was at home eating curry and I was thinking, ‘I kind of wish I could stay with you right now'."
