Moon, who was Beth Chapman's longtime assistant, moved into Duane's Denver, Colorado home after his wife's passing to help him get through Beth's death, sparking criticism from his daughters.

AceShowbiz - Dog the Bounty Hunter a.k.a. Duane Chapman and Moon Angell are reportedly no longer living together, more than a month after their decision to share the same house sparked backlash from his family. Moon, who was Beth Chapman's longtime assistant, has moved out from Duane's Denver, Colorado home, according to TMZ.

Sources tell the site that Duane and Moon had an understanding that living with him was only temporary. After having a deep conversation earlier this week, Duane allegedly told Moon that he's ready to move on and thanked her for everything she's done for him since his wife Beth's death.

Moon moved into Duane's home to help him get through Beth's death and run the house. She admitted on "The Dr. Oz Show" that she replaced Beth's clothes with her own things when she moved in, a painful yet necessary transition for Duane to face.

Now Duane is allegedly filling the empty closet space with his own things. The sources claim he's feeling better and is focused on and excited about the future, with the hope of one day returning to TV. He and Moon, however, are said to be still on good terms, with her staying in Colorado in case Duane needs her support again.

Duane's daughters Lyssa Chapman and Cecily Chapman previously slammed Moon for moving into Duane's place and replacing Beth's belongings with her stuff, weeks after Beth died of cancer. Addressing the accusation, Moon explained on Dr. Oz's show, "When I got into the house, [Duane] would walk by the closet and bawl. He would go in and smell Beth. He would go in there and sit in there and cry, and cry, and cry. He asked me, 'do you think that you could take Beth's things out of the closet?' It wasn't a negative thing. He just couldn't do it anymore."

Duane went on sharing how it helped him through the mourning process, "Once [Moon] did it, I was relieved." He continued, "I walked by and it was more empty, I was like, 'oh god'. I said, 'Moon, put some of your stuff in there,' and she said, 'no.' I said, 'Moon, that's an order.' "

On the talk show, Duane shocked everyone as he suddenly proposed to Moon. "Moon Angell, will you marry me?" he asked her. Moon and Dr. Oz were shocked, but it was claimed that Duane was just "overly emotional and got caught up in the moment" when he blurted out the proposal. The bounty hunter said he "was talking to God in the bathroom during a break, and God told him he should propose," but they were never engaged.
