Despite the awkward moment, POTUS continues showing his gratitude for his wife and his family, including Ivanka Trump and Barron Trump who are among the audience in the room.

AceShowbiz - President Donald Trump wants to celebrate the results of his impeachment trial with a kiss. However, it seems like First Lady Melania Trump isn't really fond of the idea. The two once again were caught in camera having an awkward moment as they made an appearance at White House's East Room for a celebratory address following his impeachment acquittal.

In the photos of the event on Wednesday, February 5, Melania could be seen watching POTUS speaking to supporters and political allies for over an hour. The 49-year-old later joined the president and as Donald helped Melania onto the stage, he puckered up and leaned in for a kiss.

However, Melania brushed off the kiss. Refusing the advance, she appeared to turn her head and it prompt the kiss to land on her cheek instead.

Despite the awkward moment, Donald continued showing his gratitude for his wife and his family, including Ivanka Trump and Barron Trump who were among the audience in the room. "So, I just want to thank my family for sticking through it. This was not part of the deal," so he said in his speech. "I was going to run for president, and if I won, I was going to do a great job."

"I want to apologize to my family for having them have to go through a phony, rotten deal by some very evil and sick people," he stated earlier in the speech. "And Ivanka is here, and my sons, and my whole family. And that includes Barron. He's up there, he's a young boy. Stand up, honey. Ivanka, thank you, honey."

He also blasted former FBI Director James Comey in front of the crowd. "Had I not fired James Comey - who was a disaster, by the way - it's possible I may not have even been standing here right now," Donald said. "When I fired that sleazebag, all hell broke out." Also among those he mentioned were House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff, Sen. Mitt Romney, Hunter Biden former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe -- and the FBI lovers, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

Two thirds of the Senate found The TV host-turned-politician innocent during Wednesday's impeachment trial. With the results, Donald won't ousted from the office. However, presidential election in November will determine if he'll keep his presidency or not.
