However, the reps for the popular chain of fried chicken fast food restaurants clarifies that that's literally just its uniforms that it's now selling and not a new collection or line.

AceShowbiz - Is Popeyes Ripping Off Beyonce Knowles' newly-released Ivy Park x Adidas clothing line? The makers of everyone's new favorite spicy chicken sandwich has just released a new merchandise that is inspired by its uniforms and the clothes looked suspiciously similar to Beyonce's pieces.

The limited edition merch "That Look From Popeyes", which was announced on Wednesday, January 29, featured collections including uniform-esque hooded jackets, crewneck t-shirts, crewneck sweatshirts, tunics, polos, button-downs, visors and caps. That might be normal if only the color scheme didn't struck similarity with Beyonce's Ivy Park collection, which was dominated by burgundy and orange.

"Love that look? It's our uniform. Has been for a while. And now you can buy it. https://thatlookfrompopeyes.com #LoveThatLookFromPopeyes," the official Twitter account of Popeyes wrote alongside a picture of people modelling the new outfits which was also a recreation of Ivy Park x Adidas shoot.

The company further teased its new collection on its Instagram account. "Nothing new here. Just the uniforms we wear every day. Now available for everyone. Link in bio. #LoveThatLookFromPopeyes," wrote the account in the caption.

The new merch obviously sparked conversations online. "Not Popeyes tryna say Beyonce stole their look," one fan wrote. Gushing over Popeyes, one other added, "Also. I hope we never stop talking about Popeyes Marketing team. THIS IS AMAZING. They did their own version of Ivy Park merch."

"Tbh, this is genius. Beyonce has a lifetime membership to Popeyes. So it's on brand - but the cease & desist is otw," another Twitter user said. "Brava to this marketing genius. If anyone knows who is responsible for this, please let me know," an impressed fan tweeted.

However, the reps for Popeyes clarified that that's literally just its uniforms that it's now selling and not a new collection or line. They went on insisting that they're selling the uniforms in response to all of the hype on social media from fans calling out the comparisons between their uniforms and the recent Ivy Park launch.
