The UFC fighter got in trouble with the law in August 2019 when he was caught allegedly driving his car without a licence or insurance in Dublin, Ireland.

AceShowbiz - UFC fighter Conor McGregor has dodged prosecution for motoring offences in his native Dublin, Ireland.

The mixed martial arts star was caught allegedly driving his car without a licence or insurance during an incident last August (19), and when he also failed to produce the required documents to authorities within the 10-day deadline, he was summoned to appear at Dublin District Court on Wednesday (January 29) to provide answers.

McGregor's solicitor, Rory Staines, attended the court date on his client's behalf, and was successful in having Judge John O'Leary drop the case after presenting the correct paperwork prior to the hearing.

The 31-year-old athlete has a history of legal issues behind the wheel for offences including holding his mobile phone while driving and speeding, which landed him a six-month driving ban back in 2018.

He also faced a fine for an Irish pub punch up last year, and was sentenced to community service and anger management classes in New York two years ago following his involvement in an attack on a bus carrying rival fighters at a UFC event.
