Other early winners announced at the three-hour Premiere Ceremony hours before the 62nd prizegiving's main event include Madonna, Beyonce and late Chris Cornell.

AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa and Bradley Cooper have scored two of the 2020 Grammy Awards' early trophies, picking up prizes for Best Compilation Soundtrack and Best Song Written For Visual Media at the pre-ceremony event in Los Angeles.

The pair grabbed the honours for the "A Star Is Born" soundtrack and their song from the film, "I'll Never Love Again".

The three-hour Premiere Ceremony, hosted by singer Imogen Heap, began at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles shortly after midday on Sunday, January 26, hours before the 62nd annual prizegiving's main event.

Other early winners included Hildur Gudnadottir, who landed the Best Score Soundtrack Visual Media gong for her work on TV mini-series "Chernobyl", late rocker Chris Cornell (Best Recording Package), Billie Eilish (Best Engineered Album), Madonna (Best Remixed Recording for "I Rise"), and Beyonce Knowles, who claimed the Best Music Film award for her Netflix Coachella festival documentary "Homecoming: A Film by Beyonce".

There were also early double wins for country legend Tanya Tucker, including Best Country Album, and dance music veterans The Chemical Brothers.
