The 'Tiburones' singer is expected to hold a fundraising concert to benefit the relief efforts for the victims and families affected by earthquake in Puerto Rico.

AceShowbiz - Ricky Martin is helping the people of Puerto Rico who have been devastated by recent earthquakes.

According to TMZ, the "She Bangs" hitmaker sat with local politicians on Friday, January 24, 2020 to come up with effective solutions, at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan.

The relief effort comes after the country has been hit with powerful earthquakes since late last month, with a 6.4 magnitude quake wreaking havoc in several villages on January 7, damaging several homes, attractions and hotels along the southwest coast.

The towns of Guayanilla, Guanica and Ponce suffered the worst damage, as aftershocks triggered power outages, leaving businesses resorting to using generators.

Ricky recently blasted Governor Wanda Vasquez and her administration, after footage emerged of unused earthquake aid, including bottled water, diapers and formula, and portable stoves and propane gas, sitting dormant in a government-owned warehouse.

The star is now reportedly planning to host a benefit concert next month, and he'll also be on the ground delivering goods to those in need.

The move comes after the singer filmed the music video for his new tune "Tiburones" in the territory.
