AceShowbiz - Retired MLB player Jose Cancose was arrested at the U.S.-Mexico border after he was caught trying to smuggle in illegal fertility drugs in 2008. It was revealed at the time that the former athlete planned to use the drugs to boost his testosterone production.
Following the embarrassing arrest, Jose immediately released a statement in which he "justified" his actions. He explained that the drugs were meant to augment his hormone replacement therapy because he had abused steroids for decades.
