The 'Stay Dangerous' rapper has been detained and booked for robbery after his house in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles was raided by law enforcement early morning.

AceShowbiz - YG was handcuffed at his house in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles and taken into police custody on November 24. According to TMZ, the 29-year-old rapper, whose real name is Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson, was booked for robbery.

The lyricist got surprise visit from cops on Friday early morning before sunrise at 4 A.M. The law enforcement showed up on his doorstep with a search warrant and an arrest warrant related to a robbery case.

Back in July, someone driving a Cadillac Escalade registered to the rapper took police on a high-speed chase, opening fire with an assault rifle and killing a 65-year-old man riding a bike. Cops later raided the rapper's home searching for any potential evidence that linked to the deadly shooting.

At least one person was arrested for a weapon charge, but the rapper who was not home during the raid was not charged back then.

YG insisted he had nothing to do with the shooting although the car was believed to be his. He claimed he was occupied in a recording studio when the incident happened.

"I was nowhere near the scene of this incident and had been in a recording studio all day in Hollywood. I was there until after midnight on the Fourth of July and didn't learn of these events until after they happened."

It's unclear if the Friday raid and arrest were related to the shooting.
