Opening up on her relationship with the 'Maggie May' singer, the Bond girl in 'The Man with the Golden Gun' also reveals that the rocker charged her rent when they lived together.

AceShowbiz - Britt Ekland has opened up on her relationship with Rod Stewart in the '70s, revealing the rocker charged her rent and developed a penchant for wearing her "little satin pants".

"The Man with the Golden Gun" actress, 77, revealed the "Maggie May" singer made her pay to stay with him while they enjoyed a romance - despite him enjoying massive success himself.

She shared of their relationship, reported Britain's Daily Mirror: "I had to pay $100 (£77) a month board and lodgings when I was living with him."

"I would go shopping with him and watch him buy clothes from Yves Saint Laurent but nothing for me," she continued. "He did use to like to wear my underwear though. He'd wear these baggy satin trousers and needed little satin pants. Rod would wear my knickers. He liked them."

Rod was once branded as "tight as two coats of paint" by The Rolling Stones guitarist and former Faces bandmate, Ronnie Wood, and even confessed to refilling his children's fizzy drink bottles to save cash.

Britt and Rod dated from 1975 to 1977, with the actress claiming she broke off their romance because the hitmaker was unfaithful.
