AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle isn't exactly in hiding after causing a commotion with her and Prince Harry's shocking announcement of their royal exit. The Duchess of Sussex, who has returned to Canada after only three days in the U.K, has made a surprise appearance at the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre (DEWC) in Vancouver.
The "Suits" alum stopped by "one of the busiest women's centers in the country" on Tuesday, January 14. DEWC shared a photo of staffers posing with the 38-year-old, who opted for a low-key style in an off-white sweater, black pants and brown boots.
"Look who we had tea with today!" read the caption of the image posted on DEWC's Facebook account. "The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, visited us today to discuss issues affecting women in the community."
Earlier on the same day, Meghan was photographed for the first time since she and Prince Harry decided to step down as senior members of the British royal family. She was spotted boarding a seaplane that took her from the Vancouver Island to Vancouver.
She reportedly left the ocean-side mansion at the island, where she, Harry and their son Archie were staying during the holidays, shortly before 10 A.M. local time and arrived at Victoria Harbour Airport around 20 minutes later.
She appeared to be in great spirits as she was all smiles while walking alongside an unknown male. The former actress bundled up in a large parka coat with a black top, black skintight pants and brown knee-length boots while carrying a black shoulder bag.
Her son Archie, who was reportedly left in Canada with her friend Jessica Mulroney and a nanny when Harry and Meghan returned to the U.K. earlier this month to attend business, was nowhere in sight. Meanwhile, her husband is believed to be still in the U.K. to discuss matters regarding the pair's royal exit with his family.
