Words are the 'Bartier Cardi' rapper recently had a facelift and is sporting a balaclava to her best friend's baby shower to hide the bruising associated with the surgery.

AceShowbiz - Cardi B has rocked everything from a bathrobe to a head-to-toe floral ensemble, but her latest choice of outfit still left fans scratching their heads. The 27-year-old was recently pictured wearing a ski mask while attending her best friend's baby shower.

In the photo shared by her friend Star Brim, the Bronx femcee sported a black balaclava and a pair of oversized sunglasses at the bash, covering almost entirely her face. The mask overshadowed her stylish animal-print coat and her matching pants, which she wore on top of an orange sweater.

Cardi has since been hit with plastic surgery rumors due to her suspicious wardrobe choice at the baby shower. Fans have been speculating that the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker might have gone under the knife to fix her face.

Confirming the plastic surgery speculation, MTO News claims to have heard a rumor that the hip-hop star recently got a facelift. The site notes that it's not just a minor nip and tuck, but it's a complete work done on her face.

Words are Cardi's surgery was "pretty substantial" and that she is expected to look "much" different after she's done healing. That's why the former "Love & Hip Hop: New York" star was believed to be wearing the black balaclava to cover up the bruising from her recent surgery.

Cardi B has not responded to the facelift rumor, but she has previously admitted that she had some works done on her body after giving birth to her first child, Kulture Kiari Cephus. Back in 2019, she underwent some plastic surgery procedures that caused complications, forcing her to reschedule some of her shows.

Responding to critics who blasted her decision to go under the knife to gain her pre-pregnancy body back, she told the Internet trolls, "I do whatever the f**k I want to do with my body." She went on defending herself, "I don't have the time of day like you do. My job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro (sic). So no, I don't have time to work out. I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out won't get fixed."

"I hate cancelling shows because I love money," she added. "I'm a money addict. I get paid a lot of money, a lot of money for these shows. A lot of money. I'm cancelling millions of dollars in shows, but health is wealth so I have to do what I have to do."
