AceShowbiz - New Kids On The Block star Donnie Wahlberg gave a diner waitress a great start to 2020 when he handed her a $2,020 (£1,500) tip.
The pop star and actor's wife, Jenny McCarthy, bragged about her man's generosity on Twitter, revealing they were enjoying breakfast at an IHOP restaurant in St. Charles, Illinois on Wednesday (January 01) when he surprised everyone, including her.
Her tweet showed the receipt and Donnie's $2,020 tip.
The tip, for "Betheny", was accompanied by a note that read, "Happy New Year 2020 TIP CHALLENGE."
Jenny captioned her post, "@DonnieWahlberg starting 2020 off like the amazing man he is."
The Wahlbergs spent their first New Year's Eve together away from the cameras after McCarthy decided to take a year off from co-hosting the "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" TV special with Ryan Seacrest - she's had the gig for a decade.
