Collecting $72 million on its second weekend, the latest film from the 'Star Wars' franchise makes more than the rest of the top four combined over the Christmas period.

AceShowbiz - The new "Star Wars" film continues to dominate at the U.S. box office with a $72 million second weekend haul.

"Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" made more than the rest of the top four combined over the Christmas period to stay on top of the pile, ahead of "Jumanji: The Next Level", which has picked up $35.3 million over its third weekend.

"Little Women (2019)" debuts at three with $16.5 million, while animated movies "Frozen II" and "Spies in Disguise" round out the new top five.

Adam Sandler's "Uncut Gems", "Knives Out", "Cats", "Bombshell", and Clint Eastwood's "Richard Jewell" complete the new top 10.
