In the legal documents she filed, Maria Burgues claims that the 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' hitmaker fired her after she complained about being unfairly paid and about a terrible bodyguard.

AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey's wonderful Christmas has been wrecked by a new lawsuit from a former nanny.

As the pop superstar celebrates America's Christmas number one and a new star-studded video for her "All I Want for Christmas Is You" hit, she has been named in new legal documents filed by a woman named Maria Burgues, who claims she worked for the singer from late 2017 to early 2018.

In the papers, obtained by TMZ, the plaintiff claims she flew all over the world as Mariah's nanny to her twins Monroe and Moroccan but wasn't paid fairly. She also alleges that Carey and her aides wouldn't let her take required breaks for rests and meals, even though she was working around the clock for the star.

Burgues also claims one of Mariah's bodyguards treated her terribly and when she complained about him she was fired.

The plaintiff is demanding the wages she is allegedly owed and damages.

A representative for Mariah tells TMZ, "This is a legally and factually baseless claim that will be defended with vigour."
