AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs celebrated his 50th birthday on Saturday, December 14, but the bash wasn't just about him. One day following his soiree, which was attended by the likes Jay-Z and Kanye West, the music mogul took to his Instagram account to honor late ex Kim Porter who would have been 49 on Monday.
Diddy shared a heartwarming video of the late model, who was a mother of many of his children, singing "Ready For Love" off India.Arie's 2001 album "Um Anjo Caiu do Ceu". At some point, she could be seen dancing with him during their happy times together.
The black-and-white clip also featured their kids. Kim could be heard saying, "you so cute!" to one of her twins, Jessie and D'Lila.
At the end of the video, Kim was blowing out candles after sneaking a lick of icing at a party from another year. Diddy, joined by his friends, then sang, "Happy birthday, dear Kim…" at a party from another year. Concluding the video was Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday" as the word, "Happy Birthday Kim! We will always love you…," flickered on the screen.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY @ladykp," he wrote in the caption. "Words can't explain how much we miss you but today is your birthday. We're celebrating you today! We love and we miss you!!!!!"
Diddy and Kim began their on-and-off relationship back in the mid 1990s and share Christian Casey (21) and twins Jessie and D'Lila (13). Additionally, Diddy also raises Kim's son Quincy (28) from her relationship with Al B. Sure. The pair split in 1999 and Diddy dated Jennifer Lopez before he got back together with Kim in 2003.
Kim shockingly died last November from lobar pneumonia at her Toluca Lake, California home. She was laid to rest in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia, on November 24, 2018, with a public funeral held at Cascade Hills Church.
