The 'On the Floor' singer talks about her engagement to Alex Rodriguez and her much-anticipated Super Bowl halftime show with fellow Latin star Shakira.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez sported her iconic green Versace dress when she returned to host "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend.

Marking her third appearance as host of the sketch show, the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" hitmaker took to the stage with a musical monologue that rang in the Christmas season.

Jennifer, who made her entrance wearing a full tuxedo, used the monologue to open up about a few of the big things happening in her life right now - including her upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show performance with Shakira, walking a runway in Milan in the Versace dress she first wore 20 years ago.

"Now some people say I look better now than I did then. And I'm not bragging, that's just, you know, gossip," she joked. And she touched on her recent engagement to Alex Rodriguez.

"I got what every girl from the Bronx dreams of: Getting proposed to by a Yankee," Lopez smiled of her sportsman beau.

Following the segment, the "On the Floor" singer celebrated the festive season with a rendition of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town", for which she was joined by a troupe of Rockettes, who danced with the singer during the festive tune.

As they performed around her, Lopez disappeared behind the group and thrilled fans as she revealed her first costume change of the night - rocking the iconic, skin-baring gown that has become one of her most celebrated looks.

The star previously reflected on the cultural impact of the garment on her YouTube channel, commenting, "One dress can change the trajectory of how people dress for the next 10 years. It's a crazy impact that fashion can have."
