During an interview on breakfast TV show 'Lorraine', the 'No Time to Die' actor is asked if he had any regrets about the kiss he shared with the leading man during shooting, and about making it public.

AceShowbiz - Rami Malek has no regrets at kissing Daniel Craig after the pair bonded while filming a scene for the new James Bond movie.

The "Bohemian Rhapsody" star plays Safin, Bond's latest nemesis in the upcoming 007 instalment "No Time to Die", and in October he revealed he and Daniel had locked lips during shooting.

Asked if he had any regrets about the kiss and making it public during an interview on U.K. breakfast TV show "Lorraine", the actor said "no" because the affectionate moment came due to pride over an idea he put into a shared scene.

"I was the new kid on the block coming in with a lot of ideas," he explained. "I happened to have one that worked and it made it into the film so I think it earned him picking me up and giving me that kiss."

The star also praised "Fleabag" creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who was brought in by producers to pep up the script, as adding real humour to the new movie.

"She's a great writer to begin with, whether you look at 'Fleabag' or 'Killing Eve'," he gushed. "She's extremely talented in so many different arenas."

"We were talking about a scene over the phone and I said, 'This is a very climatic moment, are you sure we should interject humour here?' And she said, 'Well he just can't help himself can he?' She had a very good sense of who the character was."

The first trailer for the movie debuted on Wednesday, December 04, with one big reveal the fact that Safin won't be the film's only Bond villain as Christoph Waltz, who played Blofeld in previous instalment "Spectre", was shown in the movie being interrogated while incarcerated.

"No Time to Die" is out in April.
