The documentary, which follows the 'Lover' singer's career from teen hopeful to megastar, will make its world premiere at the festival before being released on Netflix.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift's new Netflix documentary will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah next month (January 2020) following a war of words with her former label bosses.

"Miss Americana", directed by Lana Wilson, will follow the country star-turned-pop queen's career from teen hopeful to megastar.

The "Me!" singer teased the project last month (November 2019) in an open letter she posted online, in which she attacked her former record label boss Scott Borchetta and new owner Scooter Braun for allegedly refusing to release her old music for the film unless she agreed not to re-record and re-release all her tracks they now own next year - when they have no control over what she does with them.

The two music moguls denied they blocked the music for the film, which will open Sundance.
