The '6 Foot 7 Foot' hitmaker takes to his social media pages to promote his own cannabis line, GKUA Ultra Premium, saying, 'With GKUA, I'm sharing a feeling that I love.'

AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne has finally taken a plunge into the weed business. On Sunday, December 1, the "Lollipop" hitmaker took to social media to launch his own cannabis line, GKUA Ultra Premium, with a promise that it will give people "the best high of their lives."

Through a post on Instagram and Twitter, the 37-year-old rapper shared a photo of him puffing a pre-rolled joint. In the caption, he simply wrote, "IT'S THAT GKUA Ultra Premium @gkuaofficial #thatgkua #myweed." Meanwhile, in a press release, he explained, "I used to just want to get high, now I smoke to get inspired. With GKUA, I'm sharing a feeling that I love."

All of the GKUA products are, as explained in the brand's website, "produced from the finest cannabis". They have also been "tasted and approved" by the MC himself. The products offered include limited edition Hollygrove flower strain, vape battery, vape cartridges, as well as intensely potent and flavorful concentrates.

Speaking of the brand's collaboration with the "6 Foot 7 Foot" spitter, GKUA co-founder and president Beau Golob said in a statement, "It's an honor to lead this company along with Lil Wayne, curating a premium line of products that inspired people and feeds their creativity."

Golob also noted, "The combination of our incredible products, market knowledge and commitment to quality, paired with the unmatched fanbase of Lil Wayne, the ultimate cannabis connoisseur, creates an unprecedented opportunity to create a cannabis brand that values creativity and the artistic pursuit."

This was not the first time Wayne turned into an entrepreneur. The former president of Cash Money Records has several other business ventures, such as clothing line TRUKFIT, sports agency Young Money APAA and flavored cigarillos named Bogey Cigars. His entry to the weed industry, in the meantime, placed him alongside a slew of other celebrities that have their own brand, including Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson and Seth Rogen.
