AceShowbiz - Elton John had to relieve himself onstage in the middle of a 2017 Las Vegas concert after undergoing secret surgery for prostate cancer.
The "Rocket Man" icon only went public with the severity of the condition in his recently-released memoir "Me: Elton John", in which he revealed an infection following surgery left him "24 hours from death".
He managed to recover enough from his health crisis to press on with a planned show in Sin City just two weeks after the operation, which weakened his bladder control and left him needing to wear an adult diaper.
Reflecting on the performance in a new BBC interview, titled "Elton John: Uncensored", the 72 year old admits it was an odd time in his decades-long career.
Referring to the audience at that show, he remarked, "If only they knew, at that moment I was p**sing myself!".
Elton insists he is now "fine", and recently admitted he was subsequently inspired to lead a healthier lifestyle for the sake of his sons Elijah, six, and Zachary, eight, with his husband David Furnish.
