Ahead of the release of his third studio album, the 'Baila Baila Baila' singer also shares his wish that his new record will empower women all over the world.

AceShowbiz - Latin music star Ozuna is hoping to "break down barriers" with his upcoming third studio album, "Nibiru".

The star has been teasing the release since last year (18) with a string of hit singles, including "Hasta Que Salga el Sol", "Amor Genuino", and "Cambio".

But speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he called 2019 "the year that truly changed my perspective on music and life", and teased his experiences have "shaped" the new record.

"Latin music is here to help break down barriers around the world," he said. "And, it's encouraging to see how people from various cultures and ethnicities are loving Latin music".

Among his ideologies, the star, full name Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, hopes Nibiru will empower women worldwide, and confessed celebrating the women in his life is close to his heart.

"There's a lot of machismo, not as bad as before but it still exists. This concept of it's all about men, I don't believe in that," he reflected. "I will always support women".

"I read about how some men abuse women, even killing them. As artists we need to help stop that and show how women are ruling the world".

Nibiru dropped on Friday, November 29.
