'The Pursuit of Happyness' star is left confused as he gets stopped on the highway by a wandering poultry while he's on his way to get some pies for his family.

AceShowbiz - Will Smith confirmed it's indeed Thanksgiving as he had a strange sighting of a turkey crossing the road on Thursday, November 28. The actor posted on Instagram a video of the unexpected run-in with the poultry while he's on his way to the grocery store for some pies.
In the video, Will's car got stopped on the freeway by the turkey, which wouldn't budge though he honked to try and scare the bird off the road. "It definitely must be Thanksgiving when you got a damn turkey on the road," a bewildered Smith said in the video. "My dude, get out the street. Must've escaped. Get out the street, man!"
The 51-year-old added in the caption, "Why did the turkey cross the road? No really... why did he do this?! I'm trying to get the fam' some pies!"
While Will might be a little late for his family Thanksgiving dinner due to his encounter with the bird, his video has provided some entertainment to his followers, with many leaving laughing emojis on the post. "a whole turkey though," one commented. Another added, "It was meant to be, you should of took it home!"
On the same day, Will also shared a video of his and Jada Pinkett Smith's son Jaden Smith serving meals to the homeless at his I Love You Restaurant a few days ahead of Thanksgiving. The proud father gushed about his 21-year-old son in the caption, "Congrats, Jaden on your successful Thanksgiving 'I Love You' Truck. The way that you continue to Give & Contribute to our Human Family brings tears to my eyes. You make your parents proud!"
Jaden posted the same video on his own Instagram page and wished everyone "a good day" on Thanksgiving. "Video from Our @iloveyourestaurant Thanksgiving On Skid Row A Few Days Ago. I Love You Everyone And Have A Good Day," so he captioned it.
