Criscilla who married the country music singer in 2009 opens up on her battle with health issue after she was diagnosed with 'treatable, but not curable' cancer.

AceShowbiz - Country music star Coffey Anderson's wife Criscilla has been diagnosed with stage four colon cancer.
The budding actress, choreographer and dancer wed the singer back in 2009 - just one year after they met - but speaking with People revealed their life was turned upside down when doctors told her of her illness, which is "treatable, but not curable."
Explaining how his wife's condition has affected their day-to-day lives, the "Better Today" star said, "When you say that you will be there for each other through thick and thin and through sickness and health, you have to mean it."
"There are a lot of moments that you can never prepare for. I mean, I never thought I would be helping Criscilla brush her teeth or get to the bathroom in the middle of the night," he continued. "But we are willing to do it for each other. Each of us are giving 100 per cent."
The mother-of-three, 39, told the publication she began to detect signs she was unwell last year, and shared she was originally diagnosed with colitis, before getting a second diagnosis later on.
"As a mum, you always feel like you don't have the time to deal with things like this," she reflected. "But there came a point when I couldn't ignore it anymore."
Criscilla is now looking forward, and undergoing treatment and a series of lifestyle changes to help maintain the condition and keep the cancer from spreading.
"The cancer has spread throughout my para-aortic region and has begun growing up my back," she added. "My ultimate goal is to be in remission and have it not be chronic but be in a situation where it can be completely healed."
"The ideal, if that cannot happen, would be to keep it maintained and have it not spread any further for the rest of my life."
Coffey, 40, and his wife share eight-year-old Ethan, six-year-old Emmarie and two-year-old Everleigh.
