The Ron Wesley depicter claims that he saw 'sparks' between his two co-stars when they were working together on the set of the 'Harry Potter' movie franchise.

AceShowbiz - Rupert Grint saw "sparks" between his "Harry Potter" co-stars Emma Watson and Tom Felton.

Earlier this week, Tom, who played Draco Malfoy in the movies, spoke in support of the Hermione Granger actress' declaration that she's "self-partnered" and not single, telling Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "I like it! It's the first I've heard of it, but it's great. I'm in the same category, to be honest with you, quite happily self-partnered."

But Rupert, who played Hermione's husband-to-be Ron Weasley in the magical flicks, admitted he could see the two stars hitting it off based on their experience working together.

"There was always something," he told Entertainment Tonight while Promoting his Apple TV+ thriller series, "The Servant". "There was a little bit of a spark."

Joking he didn't want to stir up any drama or rumours, he went on to reveal there "were some sparks" during their years together on set.

"But we were kids. It was like any kind of playground romance," he added.

As for his time working on the franchise, he insisted he never really had any flirtations with his fellow co-stars, quipping, "I didn't have any sparks. I was spark-free."
