The Amazon adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid's best-selling novel will have Niki Caro serving as its pilot's director and Reese Witherspoon as executive producer.

AceShowbiz - Elvis Presley's granddaughter, Riley Keough, has landed the lead in Amazon's upcoming "Daisy Jones & The Six" series, based on Taylor Jenkins Reid's best-selling novel.

Niki Caro will direct the pilot and other episodes and also executive produce alongside Reese Witherspoon.

Jenkins Reid's book chronicles the ups and downs of a 1970s rock band.

It's not the first time Keough has portrayed a rocker - she made her feature debut in 2010's "The Runaways", opposite Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning.
