Jeremy Rainbird, the estranged husband of Sharon Horgan, insists that the two of them will continue to co-parent and work closely as business partners despite their separation.

AceShowbiz - Life is imitating art for "Divorce" creator Sharon Horgan after separating from her husband of 14 years.

Jeremy Rainbird reveals he and the Irish writer and actress, who also created and starred in U.K. sitcom "Catastrophe", are already in the midst of court proceedings, which are expected to conclude in the New Year (20).

He told Britain's The Sunday Times: "She is a great mum and a great business partner. And I love her dearly, but at some point in the next three to four months (the divorce) will be finalised."

The estranged couple shares daughters Sadhbh, 15, and 10-year-old Amer, and entrepreneur Rainbird insists they will continue to co-parent and work closely as business partners in production firm Merman.

Horgan is known for drawing from her personal life for TV - "Catastrophe" was based on the pair's early relationship, during which she fell pregnant just six months into the romance.

In addition to "Catastrophe" and "Divorce", which starred Sarah Jessica Parker, Horgan was also the brains behind "Pulling", which is inspired by her previous single life, and "Motherland".
