AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Kelly Dodd. The TV star made a big announcement on Instagram on Wednesday, November 13, sharing with her online followers that she had been engaged to boyfriend Rick Leventhal after only 3 months of dating.
The 44-year-old star posted a selfie on her account, flaunting her stunning engagement ring. "I can't believe I just got engaged !! @rickleventhal you are my Prince and my dream come true!!! #love #engaged #myprince," so she wrote in the caption.
In a video she shared on Instagram Stories, Kelly could be seen looking thrilled while announcing, "I got engaged!" Kelly, who is in New York for BravoCon, went on tauting her massive ring. "Look at that, it's a little big. Engaged!" she proudly said with Rick chiming in, "You deserve a big ring."
Speaking to PEOPLE, Kelly said that she's "beyond excited for our future together." She continued gushing, "Rick is my best friend. My partner in crime. I'm so in love. I can't believe this happened to me. I feel like I just won the lottery."
Recalling the moment when Rick popped the question at his New York City apartment, Kelly explained, "He said this amazing speech about our love and then got down on one knee and pulled out this giant ring. I couldn't believe it!"
Rick also shared that he felt the same after being engaged to Kelly. "I feel like the luckiest guy on earth," he admitted.
Kelly and Rick met in the summer at party in the Hampston through "The Real Housewives of New York City" star Ramona Singer. "They've known one another for a short time but it’s been a very deep connection," a source previously said of the soon-to-be spouses. "They are in love. It's special. They have great chemistry."
