The 'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil' actress appears to take a subtle dig at her ex-husband as she dishes on a custody arrangement between her and Brad for their six children.

AceShowbiz - Angelina Jolie has thrown a subtle shade at her ex-husband Brad Pitt, who is also the father to her six children. In an interview published in the December-January 2019-2020 issue of Harper's Bazaar, the Academy Award-winning actress claims that the "Ad Astra" star prevents her from fulfilling one of her wishes for their kids.

The 44-year-old is talking about her desire to let her sons and daughters explore the world when she reveals that she would have brought her family to live abroad had it not been because of her custody arrangement with Brad over their six children. "I would love to live abroad and will do so as soon as my children are 18," she says. "Right now I'm having to base where their father chooses to live."

While they now can't move permanently to another country, Angie and her children have often traveled overseas as part of her job as an actor and as a United Nations special envoy. Asked about her favorite place in the world, she dishes, "My favorite place is somewhere I've never been. I like to be dropped into the middle of something new. I enjoy being out of my element. I want the children to grow up in the world-not just learning about it but living it and having friends around the world. Next year we break ground on a home in Africa."

In the same interview, Angie, who poses semi-naked for the cover of the magazine, admits she and her brood have endured some difficult experiences in the past few years, including her often acrimonious divorce from Brad. "They have been through a lot," she acknowledges their hardships.

"The Eternals" star adds, though, that the tough times haven't adversely affected her six children, which she admires immensely. "I learn from their strength. As parents, (we) encourage our kids to embrace all that they are, and all that they know in their hearts to be right, and they look back at us and want the same for us," she shares.
